Community consultation to help us shape future research

We are looking to the future and have partnered with the community and professionals to make sure that future research addresses the highest priority areas. Our goal is to improve patient well-being and outcomes, and the way we use the precious resource of donated blood. We’re asking about what the community thinks is important, and what makes a difference in the delivery of care to people receiving blood products.

Phase 2 now complete

Thank you to all participants in both phases 1 and 2 for their contribution.

Outcomes from phase 1 were presented at the Blood Synergy Open Meeting 2024 in February, and at the 38th ISBT International Congress, Barcelona in June 2024.

The top-10 list of priorities (outcomes from phase 2) were presented at the Blood 2024 conference in Brisbane, and will be available on this website following publication.
